Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact on day-to-day development and implementation of high conceptual- and executional-level marketing communication programs, and be the liaison between clients and creative team
- Build and strengthen client relationships, proactively responding to their needs and following up on all requests; provide superior customer service on all levels with minimal guidance
- Constantly focus on executing clients’ objectives and strategies for large and/or complex projects to increase efficiencies and success of all projects; demonstrate a sense of urgency by having the ability to switch quickly and comfortably between multiple projects in a very fast-paced environment
- Think critically and lead strategic brainstorming sessions to ground creative decisions in the strategic directions that are established by the client
- Work alongside the art directors to conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns, including developing ideas with a consistent brand voice for clients across all media
- Collaborate with the team on the prioritization and scheduling of projects including ensuring on-time, within scope, within budget and organized project workflow from initiation to final release – you will handle multiple projects simultaneously and have to prioritize effectively to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines and project goals
- Receive and compile information associated with new projects and ensure that the information is accurate and complete before assigning to creative team, constantly revising/changing those objectives as needed from the client without sacrificing creative integrity
- Be able to present ideas both internally to peers and externally to clients, providing rationale for design choices
- Research and do competitive analysis and report findings
- Manage all client SOWs, project estimates and agency contracts from start to finish, including estimating printing/production, photography and shipping costs through external suppliers
- Oversee client billing and collections/account receivables, including managing and implementing data entry into client systems for invoicing and collections
- Oversee client budgets, goals and projections on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, internally tracking and reporting the results
- Proofread all files and print proofs to ensure content and color accuracy, including adherence to creative, technical and legal specifications
- Be part of weekly production meetings with internal team, as well as client and brand competitive landscape creation, and send weekly updates to clients for their projects
- Willingness to jump in and help out other individuals/teams when needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing projects either from the client or agency side in advertising, design and marketing, with a total of 5–7+ years of working experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or English; equivalent work experience will be considered, however, a degree is strongly preferred
- Experience in professional client relationship management with the ability to plan and strategize at a manager level by having a persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
- Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
- Experience writing solid creative briefs
- Excellent scheduling and project management skills and leading a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, technical, multitasking, problem-solving and budgeting skills
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language; ability to communicate ideas to clients, vendors, team members, and others in a clear and concise manner
- Strong proficiency with Word and Excel and general understanding of how graphic software (PDFs, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) works
- Digital media and marketing expertise with brand URL, retailer URL, social media, retail media, Google Ads/Analytics, PIP, KOL, etc. – owned, earned and paid
- Experience with client Google Analytics and monthly reporting on impressions, clicks, conversions, page views, time spent, etc., and other KPI metrics per client work and needs
- Possess high standards of integrity and confidentiality; be able to adjust to multiple demands while achieving challenging objectives with intelligence and analysis
